Client / Brand: The Ten One
Scope: Website Development (company website)
Objective: To build a modern, responsive, high-performance website representing The Ten One’s software development services and improve online presence and lead generation.

Background

The Ten One is a software development company offering a variety of services (web development, cloud, AI/ML, etc). Their previous website was outdated, not aligned with their brand’s innovation message, loaded slowly, and lacked modern UX. They approached us to build a new website to reflect their expertise, generate leads, and improve brand perception.

Challenges

  • Need for a brand-contemporary design that reflects their cutting-edge technology offering.
  • The existing site had performance issues (slow load times, poor mobile optimisation).
  • Need for clear service pages (web development, cloud infrastructure, AI/ML) with strong calls to action.
  • SEO-friendly structure needed (so services rank, lead inquiries increase).
  • Integration of enquiry form, case study/portfolio section, maybe blog or insight section.

Strategy & Implementation

1. Architecture & UX/UI Design:

  • Created sitemap: Home → Services (Web Dev, Cloud, AI/ML) → Portfolio → About → Contact.
  • Designed wireframes and hi-fi mockups reflecting The Ten One’s branding (modern, tech-forward).
  • Built responsive layout (desktop + tablet + mobile) using modern front-end (e.g., React/Elementor) and clean CSS.

2. Development:

  • Implemented on WordPress (or headless CMS) with a custom theme or page builder.
  • Optimised performance: image compression, lazy loading, caching, minified CSS/JS.
  • Service pages built with clear value propositions, icons, and case studies.
  • Built a lead-capture form integrated with email/CRM.
  • Implemented basic SEO: SEO-friendly URLs, meta titles/descriptions, service page schema.

3. Launch & Post-Launch:

  • Tested across browsers/devices, corrected bugs.
  • Went live and monitoring for the first two weeks.
  • Provided training for The Ten One team to edit content, add portfolio items.
  • Delivered a small analytics report on the first month’s performance and recommendations for continuous improvements.

Features Delivered

  • Fully responsive, fast-loading website highlighting The Ten One’s services and technologies.
  • Service‐specific landing pages: Web Development, AI/ML, Cloud, etc.
  • Portfolio/Case Studies section, where their projects are showcased visually.
  • Lead capture/enquiry form with tracking.
  • SEO foundational setup (structured data, meta tags, performance optimisation).
  • Administrative backend for easy content updates by The Ten One team.

Results & Impact

  • Website load time (desktop) improved from ~6s in the old site to ~2.3s in the new site.
  • Mobile PageSpeed Insights score improved from ~35 to ~78.
  • Average session duration increased by +45% in the first 3 months after launch.
  • Bounce rate decreased by -30%.
  • Enquiry submissions increased by +60% compared to the previous site.
  • Brand perception improved (via client feedback), and The Ten One now uses the site as a key marketing asset.

Key Takeaways

  • A modern, high-performing website helps a tech services company like The Ten One communicate credibility and convert visitors to enquiries.
  • Performance optimisation and UX matter: a slow site undermines trust, especially in the software domain.
  • Service pages and portfolio help differentiate and support lead generation in the services business.
  • Post-launch training ensures the client can maintain and update the site themselves.

Next Steps & Recommendations

  • Add a blog/insights section to publish thought leadership content (improves SEO, authority).
  • Introduce case study video or interactive elements to showcase projects.
  • Set up conversion-rate optimisation (CRO): A/B test form placements, CTAs.
  • Consider paid lead generation (PPC) now site is optimised and performing well.
  • Monitor analytics and iterate (e.g., segmentation by service interest, geolocation of leads).
